I'm still here...

I was just a bit busy last week. (Had that OU assignment to do). At the moment, I'm on the biology block. Easy...cos there's been 0 maths in it so far... It's made me realise just how much I miss doing biology and I mean the real stuff, not just for some part-time course. I'm probably just in a nostalgic mood because this time 10 years ago I would have been doing A-Level biology. It's kinda frustrating though, since most of the biology I'm doing is way simpler than the stuff I did then, and I'm wanting to go more in-depth with it - for instance, when I see a diagram of a cell, I want it to have all the features, not just the nucleus, cell membrane and cytoplasm. Nerd moment there... Here's the fun part - I get to do an experiment to see how rancid I can make a cheap tin of tomato soup go, (and I'm thinking Tesco, just for the fun. Pity I've not got a digital camara, because then I could share what happens...).

I've changed my layout because I've been reading R. A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books, though I've finished them now.

Thanks. It doesn't help when I've got so much to do and one of the chinchillas had a bad eye again last week (the same one that had it about a month ago - I think she must have got an infection in it from then), but she's looking a lot better now, but it was a pain trying to treat her on my own all week. I've also got to some how get some crickets for the toads tomorrow because the cold has killed all the ones we had, which is going to be *fun*
