Horrible day...

I had to get the toads some crickets today because the cold had killed off the last batch. It was horrible, as I don't like going to the part of town where the only two exotics pet shops are in Sheffield. (the street's infested with so-called "adult" shops and "gentleman's" clubs, so you can get a good idea of why I hate going there...), plus the fact that it's dump anyway. I had to wait for the bus for an hour, only to find that other buses went down the street when I got there and it's been freezing today.

I'm just glad that I managed to get the crickets. I bet the poor toads were starving. That's the problem when you have animals that you can only get their food from a limited number of places.
