Neme Again...(Part 2)

Okay, it's been over a week since I posted this. No-one responded....(too busy over the holidays, maybe?!) I'll reveal it anyway, but don't expect any pics as I can't be bothered to hunt for them.

1. Star Wars - tough one...I like a lot of the characters, even if I don't make the obssession all that obvious....I guess, in the end, it's got to be Luke, because out of the movies he's the one I identified most with (at least when I first watched them.) When we're first introduced to him (in a New Hope, not the prequels...), he's just wanting to get on with his life, which is something that has always applied to me. Later, in the EU novels (Legacy of the Force....) he turns from a character I can identify with into the biggest Gary Stu I've ever come across. Fortunately, however, we'll always have the OT, where Luke's at his best. Thanks, G.L.

2. Stargate: SG-1 - had a hard time trying to decide between Sam Carter and Daniel Jackson. I like Carter because she's a scientist and a female character who makes it on her own in her own right without having to be a fashion queen or anything else cliched for that matter. I like her because in the end, she's a scientist first and a female character second, if you get my meaning. Daniel, I've always liked him because he's the idealist of the group, like Luke Skywalker in that sense, and espeaically earlier in the series, he's the backbone of it. Because of that, I find him to be one of the most interesting characters.

3. The Lord of the Rings - Samwise Gamgee, because he's a good friend to Frodo, and it's a shame that we don't all have a friend like that.

4. Buffy - Oz - werewolf and in a band, need I say more?

5. Terminator - If I'd been asked this 10+ years ago, I would have gone for John Conner in T2, because back then I had a girly crush on the character... Now, I would have to say Sarah, because of her bravery.
